how to create a tiktok draft

      1. launch tiktok.
      2. press the plus button to open the camera screen.
      3. record something using the pink button or upload a video from your gallery.
      4. tap the pink checkmark and then click next
      5. then, at the bottom left of the screen, tap the "drafts" button to save it as a draft.

once you've saved your video, your draft will appear in a dedicated folder at the top of your profile page.

once you've saved your draft, you can go in and edit or add to it at any time.

        1. Go to your profile page and tap the 'drafts' folder.
        2. Touch the draft you want to edit to open it.
        3. If you want to edit the video, click "back" in the upper left corner, then "continue recording". from here you can add new clips, music, filters and more. once you're happy with it, click the pink tick to add any tags or subtitles, or to adjust your clips.
        4. click 'next' again. Here, you can edit the privacy details, hashtags, and cover image of the video.
        5. to save it as a draft again, select the 'drafts' button, and to post it to your profile, select the 'publish' button.

After shooting a draft, you may want to keep the footage you shot, but not necessarily publish it. there's no direct option to save drafts to your camera roll, but luckily there is a way to save the footage you've shot.

          1. open your drafts folder and select the video you want to save. click 'next' to go to the options.
          2. where it says "who can see this video", change it to "only me".
          3. under more options, make sure the "save to device" option is turned on.
          4. tap "post" to post your video.
          5. check your camera roll and your video should be there.

alternatively, if you want to save your draft without the tiktok watermark:

            1. open the draft you want to save.
            2. click the thumbnail of the video to preview it.
            3. tap the square in the upper right corner to remove the options, so you can only see your video.
            4. Use your device's screen recording feature to record the video and save it to your camera roll. (note: there will still be some buttons visible when using this method, so your video won't be totally clear.)

how to delete drafts on tiktok

It's easy to start collecting a lot of drafts if you keep shooting videos without posting them, which could take up space on your phone. luckily deleting drafts on tiktok is simple.

              1. Go to the drafts tab on your profile page.
              2. Tap 'select' in the upper right corner.
              3. select the videos you want to delete.
              4. Tap 'delete' at the bottom of the screen. press delete again on the popup to confirm.

it's also worth noting that if you decide to uninstall tiktok, doing so will also remove all saved drafts.
